Now that we’re part time in LA, we’re loving exploring up & down PCH as frequently as we can! If you have any recommendations for favorite California beach towns, little mountain treasures, or weekend getaways, please let me know! Please & thank you! 🙏🏼⬇️🤗✨

Try Terranea Resort in Palos Verdes for a weekend getaway. San Pedro has both nice areas and sketchy areas. ? For a mountain retreat, try Lake Arrowhead in the San Bernardino mountains, about a two hour drive from LA. My family owns a rental home up there... nothing fancy, but a nice getaway. ?

We love Carmel and yes it is touristy in a way—/ tons of art galleries and Richard Mc Donald’s you would love. It is a quaint town where you can do nothing and just relax at the dog friendly beach or explore—Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must see, as well as 17 mile drive!

Lunch at Nepenthe in Big Sur. I also love strolling around Carmel. And for something really different....Death Valley. But NOT this time of year! And don’t forget Yosemite. We moved to Cali from the East Coast and have loved exploring the state.

You may have discovered Cambria, but if not, it I think it will become one of your favorite places on the California coast. In the spring, poppies & lupine are spectacular off Old Santa Rosa Rd.

My daughter lives in Santa Barbara. She recommends Butterfly Beach in Montecito, and I recommend Caje in Goleta for their ? toast and ☕️. Yum. Congrats to you and Fedor!! ?

Any chance you’ll be sharing some of the fun places you add to the list? I recently moved to the LA area for work and could use some guidance for fun places to explore.
