wes_bugg @tomfarrell0406 bad scripts? Would you like to provide an example? Bad acting? Adam Driver arguably has put on the best performance of any actor in any star wars film. Also Daisy and Oscar and John are really good as well. Funny you say bad directing when the critics have been praising the directing nonstop. Also funny you say Disney. Fun fact, Disney doesn’t make the movies; Lucasfilms, the same company that’s made every Star Wars film, still makes them. Disney has pretty much zero creative input on the new movies. Also funny you say laughing stock when Star Wars is more successful and has more fans than it’s ever had before. Star Wars has made more money since the acquisition than it made in all the decades before

nfs0 I don’t think its Star Wars that has changed, its us that have changed on Star Wars. The space opera style of storytelling without much character arc development just doesn’t seem to work nowadays. Phasma was wasted but would’ve been no different in the original Lucas trilogy style.

surprize.for.you Did literally nothing in either movie worth mentioning. Bested in combat by a janitor, captured and used by said janitor and a scrap collector from a desert family to blow up perhaps the most ambitious project taken in by the Empire. Such a waste.

jeseboi6 Shouldn’t all storm troopers wear mirrors as armor to reflect the lasers back at the rebels and make them impossible to kill with a lightsaber and visa versa??? This question has eaten me alive for like 10 years now

wes_bugg @furiousgrizzle she’s actually a pretty cool character. But she opened the gates to save herself. And if you read the novel then you’d know she’s a survivor first and doesn’t actually care about the First Order
