I’ve never been on a weight loss journey. 2️⃣ That being said, even though I have always been a size 8-10 my perception of my body has shifted dramatically over the past 8/9 years. I had times where I thought I was too flabby, too skinny or not muscly enough. Everyone can be critical of their bodies. 3️⃣ I’ve gone from a regimented, chicken eating, macro-counting, weight lifting body builder who deadlifts 100kg to a plant based gal who eats and trains flexibly. Neither of these techniques is superior to the other. Our approaches to fitness can evolve and change, that’s normal. 4️⃣ Don’t compare your chapter 1 to someone else’s chapter 20. I’ve been on a rollercoaster journey over 8/9 years since I first started training. It took time to find a method which felt right for me and it took time to feel comfortable in my skin.
