1. I don’t have makeup on here (this was when my hair was still blue🙈) You can see all the discoloration/sun damage & freckles, I normally try to cover with makeup. (I also want to point out this was a screenshot from a video so the blurry-ness makes my skin look more perfect than it really is)
2. My eyebrows are not defined to Instagram-typical perfection.
3. This girl has been told she’s dressed weird since high school and honestly still kinda has the same style. And still doesn’t care.
4. Life is too short to not dream, be, or dress who you are uniquely, originally, one-of-a-kind-ly...meant to be, shine & radiate with. That’s you! Your individuality is where your 🔥 is!
5. Don’t you dare feel you need to fit in, belong, be like so-and-so, be more normal, dress or look like everyone else or be “regular”. IRREGULAR is where I always want to be! And you’re an awesome, irregular, rare, amazing, one-of-a-kind gift to this world...don’t try to hide your awesomeness, style, personality, beautiful face or that precious heart of yours. ✨I started on the Internet over a decade ago because I wanted to, not only teach people makeup, but the reason why I became a makeup artist...to give someone the gift of feeling what I’ve always said that “makeup unlocks the inner self confidence” to come out and shine. I Am Pretty Weird and I’m so honored @Urban Decay Cosmetics asked me to be an #UrbanDecayPartner for their new #PrettyDifferent campaign because they said they admire me for my character and not just my artistry skills - which to me is a far more important to my heart.

danatmahmoud Dear Kandee, I wish I knew about you 10 years ago. I am touched and honored to find you among the thousands of MUA’s and celebs on the internet. Why? Because my late father introduced me to one of your MU videos on YouTube to get me started on makeup ?? YES, my father wanted me to do makeup PROPERLY, like Kandee. I am touched and flattered that a father cared so much about how a girl could do her makeup and even went through YouTube to find seek an MUA he approved of. My father knew I wasn’t confident about how I looked and knew I was different from all the girls out there, but he wanted me to feel beautiful nonetheless. I was a socially AWKWARD, sensitive, secret goth Scorpio who loved taking care of animals, art and daydreaming. I have a HUGE heart and cry when I see people or living things suffer. I am slowly trying to accept who I am and not listen to people who are trying to brainwash me into fitting into society’s shallow and heart mold that considers beauty, fashion and wealth/fame as an asset more than anything else. I come from a diverse background where religion and culture defines a person, not the stuff you see in magazines or social media. Sorry for going off topic, Kandee, thank you. miagraham17 I tell my 5 year old son every single day that he doesn't have to fit society's view of normal. He is 5 years old and has never had his hair cut. He doesn't want it cut. It broke our hearts to know that someone told him he looked like such a girl with his hair pulled back out of his face. It has taken over a year to convince him that he doesn't and if he needs it tied back it's ok. We love him for his uniqueness. He has never been like other kids we know. He has been strongwilled since the minuted he was born. He won't take no for an answer and has such a kind caring heart while still be all boy. I have always loved what you stand for and your unique style. I believe we should all march to the beat of our own drum and others need to just deal with it. Love you so much Kandee!?

ofri_plaut_ I don’t know who read this but I want you to know that you loved. There are people out there that going to make you feel like there is something wrong with you. If it’s your religion, the one you love, the color of your skin or even the way you dress. But let me tell you something : YOU ARE Beautiful ! And what makes you beautiful is that you are different from others. Be unique, be who you want to be. Take out of your life the people who makes you feel like there is something wrong with you, friends and even family because those people don’t know how special you are. And if you feel alone or that life can’t get better I promise to you that it will get better. I hope you will find your happiness because you deserve it ?❤️?

iam_shannonb This damn near made me cry I struggle so much with pimples, tons of freckles sun damage, red splotches uneven skin tone and I have never left my house without full coverage foundation. I am spending so much money trying to get my skin to a point where I am comfortable. I would give anything to be able to get up wash my face moisturize sunscreen and go. At 38 I am determined to get it there by the age of 40. Thank you so much for sharing you are absolutely beautiful and such an inspiration to me
