x5spoonman @svendsenlasse everyone else has the right to make one, just that the market is dominated by the speedmaster. It's cheaper, built like a tank, has more history, sized the same, and still luxury. Why would anyone choose the Polaris chronograph over the speedmaster? JLC needed to make their chrono more unique so that there is more incentive to buy it, rather than every other chronograph on the market.

svendsenlasse @x5spoonman I actually own a Speedy Moonwatch, and as nice as I think it is, the JLC is in another league. Much better finished casework, 10 bar WR, the bracelet with microadjustments is hardly comparable, and don't get me started on the movement. Simply put, I do think there's a marked for nice alternatives to the Speedy. This isn't one, its in a different league altogheter.

svendsenlasse I think you size-sensitive guys should pop out and try one of these on your wrists. Proportions are as important as mm'. Unless you guys are ten year old kids, you might find it both proportionally comfortable and a nice fit.

x5spoonman JLC is probably the 'best' brand out there, however this watch is a fail. It could be any other chronograph to be honest. Also 42mm is too big. Leave this segment of the market to the omega speedmaster

x5spoonman @svendsenlasse I own a moonwatch (and I also have a jlc Polaris memovox). I just can't see a reason for me to change to a Polaris chronograph. Anyway, it's just my opinion. Peace

patriciopascualboing I dont find this out of segment, actually this Polaris is the main reason i dont like my speedy anymore, im planning to buy my JL Very soon
