At 55 stories tall, the Ponte City tower in Johannesburg is the tallest residential building in Africa and was used as a location to film District 9 and Resident Evil.
Despite plans to clean and rejuvenate the building, it remains to be seen if Ponte City can shed its reputation as a symbol of gang crime and urban decay. This shot is part of an outstanding series by Dimitar Karanikolov (@karanikolov) and was captured with the Leica Q.
