I was bit as a kid and never properly diagnosed until almost 15 years later. It then took seven years of treatment to finally get a negative test. I am now recovering from the consequences of the infection and the damage it did on my body. I can send you tons of studies proving that it is a chronic infection that is hard to treat and easy to get. Although it is true some people are treated easily and quickly and make a full recovery, that is not the case for everyone. ESPECIALLY because most doctors don’t acknowledge it and people are left to suffer for years without a proper diagnosis as the infections spreads. Let me know and I’ll forward all the studies to you.
