It’s about showing love and support to those that sacrifice their time and money to help others!! Our non-profit has been blessed with finding those that believe in kindness, sacrifice, giving back - Dave and I believe in this center we are passionate about sharing the healing power of these Ambassadors... sharing novel approaches to decrease the harm done to canids by humans... but we know we can’t do it alone!! So when we meet people who sacrifice their weekend, drive hours just to help us... we are so very thankful!! We met Ashlee and her amazing family at an Encounter... Ashlee contacted me to schedule a “special encounter” for her family and it was such an amazing group!!!! Her husband Mike is experienced as a grader/excavator.... and that is a trade we desperately needed in order to get our final permits. Out original contractor was such a shister and more Than doubled the cost (for a non-profit)- well, Mike and Ashlee are coming down tomorrow to help grade and excavate!!! I have never been so excited and so in awe at the generosity of people who care... . Starting a non-profit is HARD.... we believe in what we can do... we believe in he change we can make... but we MUST stay true to our mission, our purpose... and enveloping those with such grace into our Canid pack fills me with so much hope!! . So, like this post because it is about hope - hope in kindness, hope in humanity, hope for canids, hope for humans.... . Every week, I will highlight another soul that have given so unselfishly to others... who have sacrificed their time and money to support our mission- which becomes their mission.... . I always say - this isn’t about “us”- it’s about the fact that they deserve better... dogs are magical and the answer to so much wrong... we plan on showing you that connection- healing you with that connection of you just believe!!!
