sisterscorrosion I was maybe 14 or 15 when I became somewhat knowledgeable about the differences between Democrats and Republicans and I quickly realized even then that "giving away" free Healthcare and other benefits is NOT what this country is or ever was about. Bribing people with free healthcare and education makes for a pathetically lazy country of people who feel entitled and that the world owes them a living. No. Up until now we have worked very hard for what we have. I for one refuse to be a "slave" to the democrats when I can and am willing to be a productive citizen in the country I love. I understand many people who have disabilities cannot work and need assistance, and for them I don't mind one but. But they are AMERICANS, not illegal immigrants. Become a citizen legally and you are welcome. If not, why in hell do you feel you are entitled to anything from us?

Immigration drives US economy and statistics talk about that. Immigrants are engineers who build bridges, are scientists who serve into US, best@musicians ever worked and lived in US not because US is better than everybody else but because US is already a powerful economy so immigrants illegal or not illegal deserve everything. The real problem is Mexico, they wanna get rid of that so Democrats and Republicans should find a way on fixing that issue. Trump is trying to do something on that not because he care that much but because his political advisors teach him how to be a successful president.

hannah._.alexandra @debi.gebhardt im not a democrat ,, but yes I do agree with you ,, americans first because above everything it is our country ,, but some have claimed asylum and have been denied asylum so they have no other choice if they still want to enter the country ! a 22 year old father tried bringing his 2 year old daughter in . they were denied asylum and he was determined to seek a better life for his daughter and went through the river and drowned . that is much worse than what we have to go through . and some homeless people can gets jobs and work at a mcdonalds or something ! there is always a way to make money .

These numbers don’t leave room for education, investment, retirement after cost of living expenses. How is this sustainable? It’s scary how little politicians know about healthcare (access, policy, cost, delivery). The cost burden of their misinformed decisions falls on us, their constituents. Let’s fix our system before we start offering it to more people.

morganrateliff @mtbode01 so what is “rich”? The more you make the higher your tax rates are. What happened to the American dream, where you can work harder to earn more? Raising taxes on higher incomes gives less incentive to work hard. Taxes increase from 12% to 22% at $38,700. That means someone making $38,699 will have $34,055 after taxes while someone making ONE DOLLAR MORE will make $30,185. What incentive does that give for someone to work harder? Work harder to lose more money? How is that fair?

debi.gebhardt @hannah._.alexandra no...i think we have many actual legal citizens that r out on the streets with no food or housing, yet we can give illegals ac living conditions and fill their bellies but our citizens can not and do not have what is afforded to them for free. Its insane! ? i cry for them first! Americans first befor illegals! They arent even showing up to asylum cts to claim asylum!
