I agree with you, @berniesanders , but now interest are too high, in this country. Money are money and nobody is interested to people's health, until that they can pay. I'm from Italy and I have understood this purry system. A lot of difference between USA and Europe where, also if you are a tourist in vacancy and you have a health problem, you can go on the hospital without to pay a cent, because health is a right for EVERYBODY. In USA, the health's system is a cancer without any possibility of healing. Too much money around. Anyway, I'm with you forever and ever.

I’m Canadian, I live in the UK, and the public health care systems have always delivered for me and my family. My sister had a complex heart operation in Quebec to fix a split aorter, a problem she had from birth. The operation was free and done perfectly and without delay. Had we been Americans we may not have had private insurance and then we would not have been able to afford her operation.

This is possible! Don’t let rich insurance companies shove lies down your throat. As a Canadian I can hardly imagine the reality of many Americans avoiding the healthcare they desperately need for fear of bankruptcy. Doctors do not like the insurance companies. Doctors want to help people and not waste time dealing with insurance people. BERNIE IS THE ONE TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN

Other Coyntries Governments help pay into the health insurance which lowers the cost for consumers.. the US pays into Military and Defense, is where a big chunk goes. We spend more on this than all our allies combined. There is no extra money to pull from anywhere to pay into health care. What does get paid into it is not enough to lower cost for most people struggling.

People oppose healthcare for all until they get sick themselves and realize how crappy their coverage is (that’s if they even have one). I’ve dealt with many people who express how stressed out they are after finding out about their chronic illness and realizing that they also have to figure out how they’re gonna pay for the “healthcare” they need. It’s a broken system.

On the floor in pain, I waited 8 hours because the ER visit would mean no food on the table for my family. I waited till urgent care was available. I have "affordable health insurance" I pay bi weekly but can't afford the ER when I need it. FYI I'm a Canadian living in Canada. I lived most of my life with universal healthcare. It works!
