American Airlines is the worse airline company by far. We recently flown with them this past week and they overbooked our seats. We had paid seats and upon entering the gate to board the plane our tickets were declined mysteriously even though the tickets clearly showed our seat numbers. My husband, 2 kids 6 and 8 years old, and myself had to find a hotel at midnight because they overbooked the flight and couldn’t get us on the flight until the next day. They couldn’t even give us a hotel credit, refund or flight credit when we asked them since it was their mistake. The agent didn’t even know why our seats got dropped when she looked at the computer. We emailed American Airlines to complain over 8 days ago and they still haven’t replied yet. Don’t book with them. I am telling this to everyone I know who flies. Worse airline company ever.

Thank you Debbie from American Airlines at Myrtle Beach! Per usual, American cancelled my flight and gave us grief for the reroute. We were on the phone with customer service for thirty minutes, Debby solved everything in ten minutes by getting us on an immediate fight and home in a timely manner! Thank you Debbie (not American) at the front counter desk!!! You are the best, and I truly appreciate your customer service!!!!

Worst airline and worst service in my 44 years of living! You should check out what happened to flight 772 from philly to LAX and the fact that American decided to route all our bags to Las Vegas instead of LAX. Flight was suppose to leave at 8:45pm. Didn’t leave until 1:30am and the associates were rude and would not provide updates. Horrible customer service and I will never fly @American again.

Worst airline ever. How do cancel a flight due to “maintenance issues” after everyone is already checked in at the airport. And then have the passengers call customer service to resolve it them selves. I will NEVER fly AA again. And I’m usually a very relaxed and understanding person. This is the tamed version of the issue people dealt with this morning. #ghettoairlines

So sick of this Airline. Sitting in the airport now in Madison Wisconsin, Tim (employee number RTV) is unwilling to help me get home tonight on another airline because I have an economy ticket. Apparently I was supposed to read the fine print that says if your flight is cancelled, you're not worth anything if you buy this ticket. Never again.

On july 6th my flight from orlando to dallas was delayed without any reason given for 2 days.I was denied a hotel voucher and stuck in orlando for 2 days with 3 children.Due to my extended stay i have now been suspended from my job for 30 days for missing work those 2 days.THIS HAS BEEN the worse trip ever.
