26 months breastfeeding this little lady. Her nursing had slowed down last month and I thought she was weaning. Now... her second molars are pushing in and she’s on the boob non stop. To be honest, I don’t mind. I will forever be her safe place. I know we’ve made it this far partially because my mans undying support of breastfeeding. I’m so lucky! Swipe to see what a gem he is 🥰 #normalizebreastfeeding #breastfeedingcelebrationweek

I had 2 kids and I breastfed both. It was one of the most beautiful experiences of my life. I don’t think I have a more special moment with my children in that 1st year of each of their lives. Unfortunately, pumping didn’t work out for me so after I had to go back to work I tried to keep pumping during work so I could breastfeed at home, but that only worked out for a few months with my son, so Alex was breastfed for 8 months before I basically dried up because of the pumping problem. With my daughter she was sick her 1st year so I decided to stay home with her. So I breastfed ? Ashley until she was 14 months old. After she had her surgery on her kidneys she needed a little more in her diet so I breastfed for 2 more months with supplements added to her diet and then stopped. But it was a AMAZING experience that I wish with Alex was longer and if I could do it again I would absolutely do it for a minimum of 2 years. Your kids get the best nutrients and natural antibiotics from their Mama & her breastmilk...so why go anywhere else?!! @jennacantlose you are AMAZING at what you are doing for women & letting them know that this is a Natural Part Of Life! That the connection that you get with your child during breastfeeding is just as important as the nutrition they will get...the LOVE BETWEEN A MOTHER & CHILD IS BEAUTIFUL AND SHOULD NEVER BE HIDDEN! ??? Best Wishes to you & your beautiful daughter! ???

I couldn’t breastfeed my son sadly. I didn’t produce any milk no matter what was tried or any LS. I also had to return to my mental health Nursing Job after 9 weeks and I had a c-section, so it all just fell this way. Truly, anyone that works in this field knows there’s absolutely no allowance for pumping! Let alone a property timed dinner break, or proper staffing. However I’m extremely fortunate my Son is extremely Healthy and has only been sick twice. He’s testing extremely High in all the testing, and IQ. He had all his teeth at 9 months old. So those who can’t, or could not, you’re still a SuperMom and can have equally healthy, brilliant Children. Much Love to all the varieties of SuperMoms and SuperHero Dads who are doing it all, and sometimes alone! We got this!

Soooo beautiful! Thank you for normalizing breastfeeding and being an advocate for full term breastfeeding, as well! My daughter will be 3 in September and we are still nursing and going strong. I’ve nursed all four of my kids but I’ve been nursing her the longest and I can honestly say it is one of my proudest accomplishments! I don’t see any end in sight and it’s perfectly fine with me - I’ll keep giving her this amazing gift until SHE is ready to wean. ???

Can people please stop being Parental Police? Who are you to decide whats right or wrong anyway? The arrogance to think your raising "skills" are better than someone elses? Or even the need to judge someone? All that negativity is very sad and childish and probably tearing someone else down makes you feel better about yourself? Very disturbing!

My babe is 38 months and loves to nurse. She can’t stop and won’t stop. I can’t wean her as she my one and only and it just seems cruel. Thanks for #normalizebreastfeeding I often don’t know how long I can continue and sometimes I want to stop her cold turkey but as long as she still needs to comforted, I will be there ♥️

I’m still doing it at 41 months. My other 2 stopped after a year. I never thought I’d do it this long but she is my last and have a hard time just making her stop. I get a lot of ugly looks and opinions but thank goodness it’s about Lorelai and not them. #normalizebreastfeeding #supportnursingmoms
