How incredible is this close up of Vincent Van Gogh’s eye in this self portrait? I could look at it all day. The way he mixed and applied his colors in his paintings truly moves my soul on the deepest level. It’s impossible to imagine that this genius never sold a single painting in his lifetime. So many of his quotes resonate with me but one I live by is “Your profession is not what brings home your weekly paycheck, your profession is what you’re put here on earth to do. With such passion and such intensity it becomes spiritual in calling” Amen! #vangogh
