"It doesn't matter whether you're gay, bi, trans, straight, green, blue. Just human beings. If you're a good human being, you're a good human being, and that's what it comes down to."

@cornjob187 I hate it when I hot the wrong button. We agree that freedom and privacy are good things and fundamental human rights. We agree that nobody should be persecuted for their private thoughts and opinions. I don't see the pride movement as representing universal struggles or the plight of non-Western minorites. Flamboyant parades with purposefully-shocking displays of sexuality or corporate ad campaigns do nothing for persecuted people (especially all the corporations making their logo rainbow-like, which is simply exploitive). In fact, I think there is danger in backlash and hurting the very cause "pride" is trying to promote, especially in non-Western countries. I'd rather not continue an Instagram debate. If you'd like to exchange ideas, I am willing to exhange personal contact info. We may never agree, but the world is a better place when people listen to (and truly seek to understand) others. I sincerely wish you well.

Listen up folks: Airbnb is a company that doesn’t respect its partners. Being loyal to the wit own “community” is just pretending. I have been a loyal member since 2009! Super host for 5 years in a row! An Airbnb “plus” host. Then- one day, without any notice I’ve been banned. Blocked, kicked out of their platform. Without ANY explanation. Or justification. They pass the hearing procedure. Went directly to execution. Then, your on your own. I’ve done nothing wrong. This is the way they take care of their fake community. It’s all dollar and cents.. always have a plan B.

@cornjob187 because it shouldn’t matter what your sexual orientation is.. but it still does to some. People are being killed everyday for something that shouldn’t matter in the sense that you shouldn’t be treated differently. Pride is a celebration of that fight that straight people don’t have to have in order to be recognised. You’re point is like saying why do we have black history month if black people are treated equally??♀️

@cornjob187 that’s the thing.. people are still killed for their sexuality in western countries just not on a mass scale, hate crime towards the LGBT community is on the rise across the globe, how is the picture contradictory? Pride celebrates everyone struggles in the community as well as supporting those who are facing an even bigger battle in non western countries
cornjob187
@sickxne Fair enough. My mind went to right Western democracies and I didn't consider Muslim and Communist controlled nations. Homosexuals in modern Western societies are not killed for their sexuality. And the pic subject's quote remains self-contradictory.

@airbnb You are a business , so why is it your right to associate my business with you, with LGBTQ? Why is it being brought up? Inappropriate in this professional space. Plainly put, it’s just not a part of what you should be doing!
