Happy #internationalyogaday. It sounds cliche, but yoga has absolutely changed my life. I can’t actually remember my first ever class, but I’m sure it would’ve been disastrous! It wasn’t something I fell in love with immediately, and has taken years for me to fully appreciate the practice, understand my body, and realise the benefits. From classes at @bodyism @methodmovement @thepoweryogaco and now @sophiedearyoga, all have been part of my journey and taught me so much. Some of the benefits of yoga I’ve noticed is how it can relax me or energise me depending on the time of day, it has taught me to breathe mindfully, improved flexibility, strength and posture, and it has made me happier having got me through some really tough times. Yoga may not be for you, but if it’s something you have been longing to do for a while, just try out a class! It may change your life too 💕💫

livvpivv The best part about yoga is it doesn’t matter how “good” you are! Everyone is on their own journey in the class, physically and mentally, and nobody cares about what anybody else looks like or is doing, so you don’t have to feel self conscious!
