Yesterday, I decided to check out The Hang at @earthtreksenglewood because it’s right in my backyard 🥳 so why not?? And I’m glad I did!! Its been a long time since I last competed... I used to set high expectations for myself and would often fall short of satisfaction. I’ve battled with pressure and never quite figured out how to deal with it. But last night felt different. The unorthodox format helped, but I also genuinely wanted to climb against a strong field of women because it’s just so!! damn!! motivating!!! I didn’t care how many boulders I topped or how far I got. I just wanted to try hard. And I did, I really did try hard 😂😂 Particularly on this problem above ⬆️⬆️ It’s the only one I completed, but I put work into learning the movement and finally executed (after many tries). . Big thanks to the organizers for their hard work 🙏🏻🙏🏻 and shoutout to my friends and fellow competitors 💛 there were so many inspiring athletes that showed up.
