To create this collection I wanted to connect to my hometown of Detroit, Michigan. I used organic linen and cottons, and printed and produced the collection in Detroit and Flint. These images were photographed at locations in Detroit. I painted the large floral print on this dress and screen printed it at Scarlet Crane with Shayla Johnson and students from Cass Tech led by textiles teacher Mindy Mitchell. . .
