@arcteryx do you have any commentary or future solutions for the persistent use of perfluorinated materials in outdoor gear? For instance, Gore-Tex and similar water impermeable membranes. It's well-known that they're all PTFE-based. PTFE is a material that doesn't degrade well, and its degradation products are highly persistent and accumulative in the environment. The material is also almost impossible to recycle, and is produced using highly toxic, controlled, and environmentally damaging precursors (e.g., tetrafluoroethylene).

WOW some of these items are coming in on par with NEW (sale) prices. they must be in REALLY great condition! @arcteryx I really love your gear, but with this you really need to have a word with yourself. It's looking very much like you're using a gimmick to make money from your existing customers by fleecing new ones. really poor ethic for a product of your standing! :(

I’m trying to figure out what this looks like for myself.
I have gear that has defects?
So do I eat the loss and try and get money for it ? Or get it fixed? Or you guys make that choice?

Arcteryx is a brand that belongs to Amer Sports company. The company was bought out by Anta, a Chinese sport company last year. Rethink on how NOT authentic the brand will be from now on

@christysegebarth I guess this just means we will have to keep buying Arc'teryx...to reduce our footprint...

Why only in the US? What about Canada where you are based?
