For almost 40 years, Dallara has developed themselves to the business of designing, building, and supporting some of the world's most competitive race cars. The history is incredible. They organised a whole day for me and showed me around. Over 750 people work there. What you maybe did not know is that they build the FIA F3, FIA F2, FIA Formula E, FIA F1 HAAS chassis. They are working together with Lamborghini, Ferrari, Bugatti, Porsche and a lot more. 2017 they launched their first own road car which is the Dallara Stradale. I had the pleasure to drive it. That was fun. A lot of fun! In my career I’ve seen many simulators but the one they have is HUGE!!! I wish I could have driven it. The highlight of the day was visiting the Dallara Academy which is a museum with around 30 cars from 1966-2019. All of those cars were either built or developed by Dallara. Those cars are super expensive and really special. And in the middle of all those cars is the Dallara F317 with MY DESIGN from season 2018. It was the model which I raced in last year and also with which I crashed in Macau. Seeing the car with my design standing next to on elf Gilles Villeneuve or Fernando Alonso is MEGA!
