After years of travelling the world backpacking, including living with Amazonian tribes for a while, at 29 years old, my dad and his friend decided to travel around the world on a sailboat. They put their money together to buy a hull and build it themselves. A year later, the “Salam” was sailing the seas of the world. The first photo is my dad and I, during our sailing trip last December. We were about three days off shore on that day with 4 more to go. Happy Fathers Day to my wonderful Daddy. @garminmarine
