Mario Trimarchi’s #Ossidiana coffee maker takes on a sculptural form that is at once radical and ergonomic. Its shape, which allows for easy grip, recalls #primordial images of chipped flint, one of the earliest tools used by humans. Ossidiana’s shiny aluminium surface and asymmetrical form reflect the glasslike, jagged nature of its namesake volcanic stone.
