This year was the year we decided to make a trip to Disney World in Orlando, FL. It was part of a bday gift to Sabrina and we were just as excited. I have heard many stories about the parks but I have to say what we saw with our own eyes exceeded our expectations. We went to three parks - Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, I took about 2500 pictures in three days and we collected a wagon of stories about our visit. 🤩
My personal favorite were the Pandora world - it is SO magical ✨ and SO inspiring! Sabrina and I kept our sketchbooks near us all the time and we drew the most in Pandora park. I also loved seeing the mosaic in Cinderella’s castle at Magic Kingdom, it’s very impressive in person. Also, being a huge fan of Mary Blair, “it’s a small world” ride felt extra special. We just got back from Disneyland Paris with our 4 year old and it was just, meh. By the looks of your post we should do Disney in Orlando next time. Stunning artwork per usual from you too. So interesting seeing you sketch something other than folk. Keep ‘em coming!

I grew up just a few miles from Disneyland so I was there frequently. But alas NOT in the last 20 years or so though. It is very exciting. Every stinking time!

Sometimes I forget how much I love Disney World, but this post took me back! I would love to see Pandora in person, it looks breathtaking!
