There's long been a fixation on bad guys in the dating world, so much that when we do find a guy that isn't so bad, we automatically deem him good. He gets praised for doing the bare minimum and is put on a pedestal, when in reality, he hasn't done anything but be a decent human being. Artist Shelby Lorman has a name for these types of men: Good Boys. In 2017, Lorman created @awardsforgoodboys, drawing viral comics and illustrations for women who are tired of men doing the least, about the Good Boys who should be "awarded."
