Muslims make up approximately 0.9 percent of Ukraine's population and include Uzbeks, Volga Tatars, Azeris, North Caucasian ethnic groups, and immigrants from Bangladesh, India, and African nations. Yesterday they went to Ar-Rahma Mosque for the Eid prayer. It's one of the few mosques in Kyiv and was built in 1991. After the prayer, they celebrated the day with friends and families by sharing a special meal and partaking in activities.
