Say cheese! It's Smilodon fatalis.
🔎 You were all quick to recognize this saber-toothed cat, which used its sharp, curved canines to stab and tear into the flesh of their prey. One edge of their long teeth was serrated like a steak knife—an excellent tool for cutting flesh.
This particular species roamed North America during the recent ice ages 28,200 to 13,000 years ago.
