LA on approach. .
We all have our home airports and landmarks that make you feel like you're almost there when you look out the window. For me, it's LAX and seeing our cute little skyline out the right side of the plane. Well the evening I shot this I had the dreaded aisle seat, but if gave me the opportunity to allow for the woman sitting on the window to be a part of the frame. I did let her know I was going to take a picture of downtown out the window (didn't want to be creepy camera guy next to her). I had one shot at getting it all lined up right, the sunset perfect started to pour in on her face as we banked west, I only was able to shoot this one image and remember hoping I got it. Very happy with how it turned out, sometimes the best window image comes from the aisle seat. .

honeywest333 I’ll remember that next time. Just flew back home from visiting LA. Always ask for the isle seat because I hate to be trapped. But it’s only a 21/2 hour flight from my home to there. Window seat for sure. On the right side.?
