@nathanceletine Yeah I'm pretty sure that's not actually part of the lore. Maybe small pieces of it, like being able to improvise memories/being unable to improvise too much and desynchronize (We've seen similar parts of this in regular AC missions when you desync, and with optional objectives, but there's been times in AC's history where the protagonists attempted to make their ancestor/person they're reliving do something that they didn't, making them desync, and sometimes violently too), but when it comes to seriously big events? That's likely impossible, especially with deciding your character. You gotta understand that most Animi aren't just making you relive your memories, (as of AC 1's Animus) they're also trying to simulate and contextualize the memories so that they're easier to interact with, both for the people outside and for the person experiencing the memories, since you DO have to interact with the memories, and "do" what your ancestors do to progress through their DNA (essentially exactly what it's like to play the game)

Yeah, I guess most of the people here are right assassins creed is not the same with its Greek mythology inspired story, it’s just not realistic anymore. I wanna go back in the good old times where we fought ancient Roman gods, and we had an apple that can control peoples brain, oh and remember the fucking whole technology more advanced civilization that lived before us? And eagle vision that lets you see through walls? Yeah assassins creed really lost its realism through the years

@ziabava i understand your issues, as i have the same myself, but they can’t make a game about Ancient Greece and not include all of these mythological pieces. It could’ve been written a lot better, but i would’ve been pretty mad if they made it about Ancient Greece and they didn’t include things like the Minotaur, Medusa, Hades, etc. this was honestly the best game I’ve ever played, but it was definitely one of the worst AC games as far as continuity goes

You know the main reason that i have to play this one is the story behind all the assassin's creed.if i could i wouldn't play origins or this one.but the main story it's really good and somehow even close to some of the theory of begining of humanity and how annanukeis came and shaped humans and used them as an slaves for themselves...i hope i don't get disappointed after playing this game.

I’ve played this series since Assassins Creed 2 and I don’t understand why so many people are upset over this game. It’s just different from the others, if it wasn’t this we would be mad that it’s the same as the last. This game is incredible I feel sorry for those who haven’t enjoyed it as much as my friends and I have

For all the people who are saying this isnt an ac game, you are kinda right but just keep making games where you are only fighting templars because they are the assassins enemy will eventually get boring
