ウエストコーストチョッパーズさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ウエストコーストチョッパーズInstagram)「We finally finished up my GEN2 Raptor build. Man I love this truck! (Even with a 6-banger😂) We took a lot of time selecting parts and suppliers. Starting with the motor. Surprisingly the EcoBoost TT V6 already ran pretty good stock. So we put a Whipple high flow intake with a ADD intercooler. Turbos are flowing through SPD flanges and down pipes with cats. The rest of the exhaust was tricky. We initially slapped on a Full Corsa cat back system. I just couldn’t get used to that uncorked V6 squeal. So we modified the stock resonator and muffler to mate to the Corsa system from the muffler back, but that still didn’t work. So we stepped down the exhaust size towards the rear to increase back pressure. This made a huge difference in throttle response. We also stuffed the pipes way up and machined some cool stainless tips. Now this thing rips and doesn’t sound like some 16yo kid in a Honda Accord with a coffee can tip. For the suspension we of course used KING Shocks all the way around with Deaver lead springs and KING bump stops in the rear in Camburg mounts. Front has Camburg billet upper control arms. Big New Brembo Forged brakes with Venom wheels wrapped in General rubber. Protecting the front & rear are ADD production bumpers that we sprinkled a little Fab & CNC sugar on. Caliber9 made the bitchin grill with built in Baja Designs lights. In the color matched Line-X bed is a BuiltRight bed rack system holding stuff I might need like the SafetyCraft fire extinguisher. Inside is kept pretty stock with exception of a ConditionZero rifle mount behind the seat. I really dig this truck. I like things that at a glance look stock. The closer you get the more details you see. Then you realize most of the work is to make it go fast and stop fast and handle the turns.
