サラ・ドリューさんのインスタグラム写真 - (サラ・ドリューInstagram)「How do you define “success”? I talk a bit about that in my interview for @bellanycmag (which is on stands now). I think success can mean different things to different people. I believe success is a really good life/work balance. Success is peace and a deep understanding of my value that isn’t wrapped up in what I am achieving. Success is found in relationships that matter and community connection. Success is having the opportunity and privilege to do something I love to do. And ultimately, success is how I define it, not how others do. I think the hardest part of believing in this definition of success is remembering that I’m living my life and not someone else’s. The agony of comparison is one of my biggest struggles. I regularly get consumed by comparison, and every time I’m stuck in a rut, the root of my struggle is usually wrapped up in comparing my life to another person’s. And then I forget to be grateful for the beauty that I’m experiencing and instead get stuck on wanting someone else’s “success”. Can anyone relate? What does success mean to you? Do you get stuck in the comparison game? How can you reframe your experience and see the success that is already there? #gratitude . . . . .
