In 2011, Guerlain founded a long-term research partnership with the Brittany Black Bee Conservatory Association (ACANB). The program ensures protection of a unique element of the world’s natural heritage, a species of black bees found on the island of Ouessant. Since then, the Maison has been committed to protect its iconic emblem.
On May 22, 2019, in conjunction with the International Day for Biodiversity, Guerlain organized the 3rd edition of its Bee University program to identify the best solutions to protect and preserve bees.
The event was part of the Man and Biosphere (MAB) conference held at @UNESCO.
