A sweet Sicilian breakfast. The traditional “brioscia”, here without its added "tuppo" is paired with a “granita di gelsi”. This fruit, similar to a blackberry, is found in very rural areas of the Sicilian countryside, a delicacy that is blended with water, sugar and lemon juice and later freezed to produce a refreshing granita, topped off with whipped cream.
