The symmetry! This x-ray marks 9 weeks since the right leg TPLO (your left) and 4 weeks since the left (your right). Happy to report the right leg is completely healed, and the left is tracking well and getting stronger! I gotta stay diligent with rehab, anti-inflammatory meds, omega-3s, and daily exercises. Thank you all - couldn’t do this without you! #winstonsroadtofetch

@chiquita91355 Google Green Lipid Mussel benefits for humans and dogs. It was observed that the geriatric indigenous people to New Zealand did not suffer from joint issues and were still squating and climbing coconut trees. They consumed a lot of green lipid muscle. The research began and it was found to benefit joints/arthritis. I use Boswellia instead of NSAIDS because it works well for pain and discomfort and it's 100% natural. It's been used in Ayurvedic Medicine forever. As much as possible, I avoid chemicals because they only address the symptoms and cause extreme side effects. I've adopted 6 adult dogs over the last 15 years and learned the hard way that the natural and holistic approach worked far better for my dogs. I take it even further and make my own dog food that's gluten free and grain free because it's healthier and doesn't have preservatives. It's less stress on my dog's organs and provides good nutrition, and the appropriate moisture and fiber required for a dog. If we as humans ate cereal or kibble all our lives, we would die of organ failure. You have to ask yourself, "If I wouldn't eat anything with a 1-5 year shelf life with a ton of chemical preservatives, why would I feed it to my fur babies?" I'm not judging anyone, but I've seen my geriatric dogs thrive after changing their food to a species appropriate diet and taking a holistic natural approach. Google Dr. Karen Becker and Dr. Dobias. Amazing videos and information. Extremely valuable information. Just an FYI, I decided to go the natural approach after adopting a beautiful Sheltie in 2004 who had severe epilepsy. After 3 years with regular Veterinarians, I happened to take him to a specialist who was a canine neurologist and very well versed in a holistic and naturopathic approach. His suggestions made a world of difference for my Sheltie and all of the yeasty and arthritic Corgis I adopted.

@chiquita91355 the best Astaxanthin I have used for humans and animals at the best price can be found at some Costco Warehouses for $49.99 and sometimes it's $10 off. I love it because it's not the standard 4mg, it's 12mg. It's also amazing for hair, skin, and joints/spine/hips for humans and canine. Google the benefits.
