Finally got my hands on a “Ise-Momen” (伊勢木綿) aka. a traditionally woven cotton kimono! Had it sewn to my size and it feels just so fabulous 😭🌈
Bad news is: The last Ise Momen craftsman retired and there is no predecessor to take over, so Ise Momen might die out 🤭 (of course there are a few other weavers in the country but..) Oh, and I’m wearing the obi I up cycled- but more on that next time 😘

帯は手作り。足袋はJOTARO SAITO, 草履はSALZ。
