東福寺。
臥雲橋から望む青紅葉の中に、ぴょこぴょこと赤い種のようなものを発見。
これは『翼果(よくか)』という、もみじの果実なのだそう。
親木から落ちるとき、できるだけ遠くまで飛んでいけるように果実に翼が付いたのだと知り、
命のたくましさを感じました。

At Tofukuji temple.
I found a kind of red seed in the maple seen from Gaunkyo bridge.
This is a maple fruit called "Samara".
I felt the strength of life to learn that the fruit was winged to fly as far away as possible when falling from the parent tree.
