It was for @shooto_sustain. Today the Shooto delegation visited our @rgripgym and we were so honored! Both Roemer & I stepted into the mma ring for the first time on the same day...back in 1999! Or was it 1998🤔? Anyway, grandma continues her story, I was heavily inspired by @ruminasato. I saw on a video tape how he won within seconds in the 1st round on a flying armbar. I have rewatched it many times because I couldn't believe my eyes. Inspired by him, by his beautifull high pace, high risk fightstyle, I won the semi finals of the 1st world title for women by his technique and continued into the finals. Japan has such a special place in my heart, the country and it's citizens have tought me so much and redirected my path, my DO, when I thought I should go to university and live a comfy life.
