Phil, Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever cross (8 w/o), @ccicanine - Santa Rosa, CA • Canine Companions for Independence is a non-profit that trains and places assistance dogs free-of-charge to individuals with disabilities. Phil is at the very beginning of his journey to hopefully become a working service dog. We’ve teamed up with @ccicanine and Ashley from @fosteringpuppies to follow Phil’s life and progress along the way while educating as many people as possible about what it takes to become a service dog of the highest caliber. Get ready for the next 20 months of Phil’s life as he grows up, learns in preparation for formal training, and hopefully one day provides someone with independence. #cciphil #dogistphil
