I think I get at least one DM a day from someone who asks, “What’s that park that you guys always go to with all the rope ladders?” It’s in Washington Square Park in the Southwest corner. If you go on a nice day on the weekend, it will be PACKED, the artificial grass is FILTHY, and little kids and big kids always seem to be battling it out TO THE DEATH over who gets priority on the long suspended rope ladder...but we love it anyway. Also, I read that one reason they created this playground in two sunken hills is so it isn’t intrusive to the aesthetics of the park, which is pretty cool. Where are your absolute favorite places to take your kids in NYC? I’m in the midst of putting together my ultimate list for a blog post and I don’t want to forget some place special! #washingtonsquarepark #nyckids
