An 8-year-old British boy who was born without a right hand made history as the youngest and smallest person to be fitted with an advanced multi-grip bionic arm, according to manufacturer Open Bionics. The “Hero Arm,” which translates electrical signals into a series of grips and movements, will help Freddie Payne pick up delicate objects, grip playground equipment and high-five his friends.
