That’s a nice pop of blue you got there, @tasmania! 💙 @bitterichtungmeer enjoyed discovering the aptly named #LittleBlueLake in @northerntasmania, which is a two-hour drive from #Launceston. The lake’s vivid turquoise colour comes from the high mineral content in the water, so while swimming is not an option here, it’s a great spot to throw down a picnic rug and have a feast of locally-produced goodies while admiring the view. TIP: This lovely spot can easily be a pit stop on your way to #MtWilliamNationalPark, which is only a further 45-minute drive and is home to loads of stunning natural scenery.
