hendersonlonnie OMG!!!! No no no no 😳😔😞 RIP #restinheaven !!!!! Not to make this about me, but I was just praying John would pull through. I am sad for his daughter, Justice Maya, whom I worked with, and the rest of the daughters and family. He has hired me countless times for Snowfall and other projects. Randal Kleiser introduces us years ago at a tribute the DGA gave for John Singleton, honoring his legacy of work. He was always very nice to me. I gave him a signed copy of my book NEVA-EH and he said he was going to read it. I remember the conversation like it was yesterday. He told me to keep pushing and don’t stop! 😐😔😞 Wait, WHY AM I CRYING? Because simple, he touched me and so many others. He helped me and so many others. WE NEEDED HIM! I NEEDED HIM for strength and inspiration. To see another Black man DO IT, MAKE IT, GIVE SO MUCH TO HIS CRAFT ....HE SHOWED ME THE PATH AND POWER!!! He is still with me, with US! ❤️ GOD PLEASE GIVE HIS FAMILY STRENGTH. AMEN. 🙏🏽
