Celebrating 100 years of diplomatic relations between Finland and Japan, @Artek’s ‘FIN/JPN Friendship’ collection was created in collaboration with Japanese designers and manufacturers. It includes this special edition of Alvar Aalto’s 1933 three-legged ‘60’ stool, given the full indigo treatment by Buaisou, one of five remaining dyeing workshops in Tokushima that still use a traditional fermentation process.
