サマンサウィルスさんのインスタグラム写真 - (サマンサウィルスInstagram)「I was recently fortunate enough to meet a lot of women around Australia as part of the @businesschicks #FoundersTalks tour in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, the #PowerPlayers Women’s Luncheon in Sydney, the @HelloHubbHubb #Hatched even in Wagga, and the @Loreal Bold Beauty breakfast in Sydney’s CBD. ⠀⠀⠀⠀ I spoke of a lot of personal sharing’s in my keynotes, all of which I had rehearsed and practiced to the point of knowing by heart, doing so so that I was able deliver each story without my voice shaking, because there was a lot of time where I could not do that.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ While I am a huge advocate for vulnerable storytelling and think it is imperative in this time in history to counter the polished edited perfection we have been so accustomed to absorbing, what I did not account for was the reciprocation of sharing of your intimate, often heartbreaking, usually isolating, band width capability exerting, but always soul enlightening and resilience building stories.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Your words, DMs, emails, ink, gifts, cards and illustrations become tangible gatherings of what I needed to put my focus on next. Because of your strength and vulnerabilities, I have spent the last three days in lock down mapping out what my next project is, and I’m really excited about it.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ Like really fucking excited, but calm, and with a knowing and flow state certainty that this is what I am meant to be doing….And I only know that, because of YOU. You guys became my muses and my mentors, and I am eternally grateful for that.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ So THANKYOU, to the organizations listed above for facilitating the conversations, and especially to each of you who gave up your evenings and mornings to spend with me, and for your generosity in your honesty, and vulnerability, and bravery of such open heart and soul sharing’s.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ You’ve inspired me.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀ OK.
