ブリクストンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ブリクストンInstagram)「Field report from our friend @buttterface who took his favorite All-Terrain ‘Transport’ Cargo Short & ‘Patrol AT’ Anorak Jacket through the California desert this weekend: “Our most recent voyage was an 80 mile trip from Indio, CA to Joshua Tree National Park, by way of the monstrous Berdoo Canyon. The elevation gain was about 4000ft through primarily soft sand with all of our needed gear, food, and water strapped to the bikes. (Our setups ranged from touring-specific to full suspension downhill). We spent a good amount of time talking gear, both good and bad, sharing trail food recipes, and trying to rationalize how an uphill climb could seemingly never end. We began with 5 riders and ended with 4 due to heat exhaustion (he’s fine). Water is gold in the desert and the grueling mental aspect of dealing with extensive sun exposure shouldn’t be taken lightly. The physical approach to trips like this can be the difference between success and failure. Two of the riders had cached an additional 3-gallons of water at our halfway point and we used every drop of it. We searched far and wide for the elusive Yucca Man through two campfire-less nights amongst the boulders but thankfully only met generous travelers from all over the globe. We finished strong with a 45-minute downhill descent through the canyon we had worked so hard to ascend on the first day out. With no mechanical failures, or even a flat tire for that matter, we marked the trip a success and immediately began planning the next one over much needed tacos and beer.” #brixtonallterrain #brxtn」4月24日 6時08分 - brixton
