I tried out high carb, low fat, high fat, low carb, no oil , raw till 4, fully raw etc. I understand that these ways of eating are not a trend for a lot of people (so I hope to not offend anyone), but they all were definitely more popular than others at different times. I honestly felt pretty good on these diets aside from the high fat one. However, it was so hard to stick to anything with my traveling schedule and it would stress me out. After all the experimenting, I now don’t stress at all on following any diet plans and I’ve had this mindset now for the past couple of years. If it’s vegan I pretty much will eat it if I want it 🤣 I eat a well rounded plant based diet of veggies, fruits, cooked foods that sometimes include oil, raw foods, nuts, seeds, legumes, and grains. I incorporate plenty of whole foods that I crave in the moment that make me feel good. Im not saying this is the right way to be vegan and thrive, this is just where I’m at now. No stress! One thing that has never been a trend in my eyes is the vegan lifestyle... The ideas of loving animals and our planet are my core values and always have been.  If I could give one piece of advice to those who want to try veganism it would be to view veganism as a lifestyle and not a diet. Diets are temporary and are not long term. Go vegan for the right reasons and research the major impacts it has on your health, the animals, and planet. There’s more to being vegan than just losing a few unwanted pounds. Those are my 2 cents.
