Recently, I got to travel to the Naboisho conservancy in the Maasai Mara as an ambassador for the @ourplanet docu-series. It is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been, and the most connected to nature I’ve ever felt. We met an amazing team there who took care of us — In particular Salaash and Fred. Our local guides not only knew how to find every animal and everything about them but shared their personal stories and helped us understand the culture of the Mara, and in particular the importance of tourism as a way to keep the land preserved and bio diverse. Taking a safari is definitely a privilege but it’s also an effective way to bring wealth and education to communities. Anyway, the Our Planet team has worked tirelessly for many years to bring you a docu-series that is educational, inspiring, and personally brings me hope for the future of our earth.
