ASMR was a bodily sensation and a hard-to-describe psychological oddity. Until suddenly, it was a @YouTube phenomenon. It's intimate — a “silvery sparkle” inside the head, a euphoric “brain-gasm” or a feeling like goose bumps on the scalp that faded “in and out in waves of heightened intensity.” Its triggers were as varied as watching someone fill out a form, listening to #whispering sounds or seeing Bob Ross paint landscapes on TV. @jamielaurenkeiles recently spoke with @gibiofficial, “the LeBron James of touching stuff,” to learn more #ASMR. Visit the link in our profile to read her piece for @nytmag. @_hannahwhitaker shot this photo.
