Otari Village is known for its heavy snowfall, even among the many snowy areas of Nagano.
Spring has finally arrived here as well, and delicate flower buds have begun to spring from the ground.
In warmer May, the historical Salt Road Festival, where participants walk along an ancient trail, is held here.
