"My faith tells me that I ought to love the Lord my God with all my heart, mind, and soul and my neighbor as myself. My neighbor is not defined by race or geographic boundaries. My neighbor is defined not by ethnicities, not even by religion. My neighbor is found in the sense of one who is in need, one whom I can support and one in whom I can see the stamp of God. A great teacher of the faith once said that ‘In Christ there is no Jew, nor Greek, nor slave nor free.' So I can extend that—no black, no white, no male, no female, we are all one.
