Yesterday marked the opening of ‘Mondo perduto’, an exhibition celebrating the work of Italian photographer Paolo Di Paolo, at the MAXXI National Museum of 21st Century Arts in Rome. It has been nearly 50 years since the 94-year-old photographer has picked up a camera but together with @グッチ and Giovanna Calvenzi, they have curated an exhibition featuring over 250 photos taken from 1954-1968. The photographer reminisces, “In 1946/1947 I became acquainted with the camera in a style of photography that didn’t exist before.
