I just took some time off from Instagram but when I would check in, I found myself repeatedly moved by @グレタ・トゥーンベリ and the work she is doing for Mother Earth. I hope you check out what she is about (link in my bio).
To the students who have taken up Greta’s call to strike, please know you inspire me, and that I am proud of you for claiming your place in this world. I am curious: what do you think us older generations could be doing right now for the climate that we are not? What kind of support do you want?
Greta- thank you for everything you are doing and, for what it’s worth, for lifting up my heart and giving me hope.

So does being vegan mean you become a bully to those trying to help? Because that is not the vibe Greta gives off to me! This is not to all, just those that are bashing her so cruelly for giving up veganism! You don't know someone else's life or the battles they face, so I think on top of physically making the world a better place, you can emotionally also. Be kind! Words hurt! Show a little more love and acceptance and maybe we could all work together for a brighter future!!??

With that in mind i have found a principle for flying that sort of works with my green conscience:
I can fairly, though not perfectly justify a flight, if the journey, (back and forth together) done by alternative means, would take ~a 10th part or more of the time I stay abroad.
ERGO: an estimated 5 days journey in relation to 60 days wouldn’t perfectly meet this measure, but as it was a group trip I had little alternative except for not taking part or going by ship on my own.

I recently had my first 3 ✈️ flights ever in my life. Because it was for the sake of a 2 months exchange program to integrate young people into the job market. And taking a ferry or containership would have probably taken too long, which might have lead to a misproportion between merely travel time and the time we stayed there.

Furthermore, as the first Journey took around 12 hours and the second(back home) around 5, this is within a day and thus, - in terms of saved time, made sense to me as an alternative to going by ship ?

Veganism is the best way to combat climate change and looking after mother earth. I wonder why Greta hasn't mentioned anything about that or 5G..
